DO YOU CHARGE PLANNING OR DESIGN FEES? +

Yes. As professional travel advisors, we charge fees for our planning and design services. After a complimentary discovery call, a non-refundable Planning & Design Fee is required to begin working together. This fee varies based on the scope and complexity of your trip and will be clearly outlined during the initial inquiry phase.

CAN YOU HELP WITH HOTEL-ONLY BOOKINGS? +

Yes. Hotel-only bookings are always complimentary with MRG TRAVELS. You’ll enjoy VIP perks such as upgrades (when available), daily breakfast, resort credits, and special amenities through Virtuoso and Brownell’s preferred partnerships. Even if you don’t need full trip planning, I’m delighted to secure the best rooms, added value, and VIP recognition at luxury properties around the world.

DO YOU BOOK VILLAS OR RENTAL HOMES? +

Yes. We have access to exclusive villas and private rental homes around the world through our trusted network of vetted partners. Please note that we do not book with VRBO or Airbnb, as we are unable to verify the quality of these properties.

CAN YOU HELP WITH FLIGHTS? +

Yes. For commercial travel, we can assist with Premium Economy, Business Class, and First Class flight bookings.

Our Air Desk team specializes in premium airfare and handles everything on your behalf, fare research, securing the best routing options, booking competitive premium-cabin fares, monitoring your flights on the day of travel, and managing all changes to your tickets. And should the unexpected occur, you’ll have access to 24-hour support to help navigate and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.

This means a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish, and you’ll never have to wait on hold with the airlines or stand in a rebooking line at the airport. Air booking fees apply per person, per ticket.

DO YOU ASSIST WITH PRIVATE JET CHARTERS? +

Yes. I work with a trusted network of vetted private aviation partners to arrange customized private jet charters based on your schedule, preferences, and aircraft needs. Private aviation quotes are customized upon request.

CAN YOU BOOK HOTELS AND FLIGHTS USING POINTS OR MILES? +

We cannot use points for flight or hotel reservations. That said, we’re happy to guide you on the best use of points and will always add your membership rewards number so you can earn additional points whenever possible.

HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH CLIENTS THROUGHOUT THE PLANNING PROCESS? +

We stay in close communication with our clients from start to finish. We schedule key calls throughout the planning process, including a Discovery Call, Proposal Review, Pre-Travel Itinerary Walkthrough, to review details and make decisions together. Email is our preferred method of communication so everything stays organized in one place, but we’re always happy to schedule additional calls as needed. You can be as involved as you’d like, whether you prefer to collaborate closely or hand off the planning entirely.

HOW ARE MY ITINERARY AND FINAL TRIP INFORMATION DELIVERED? +

We deliver all final trip details 1 to 2 weeks before departure. You’ll receive an email with everything you need for a smooth journey, including your confirmations, travel notes, and a link to your customized digital itinerary. Your full itinerary will also be available through an easy to use mobile app, where all documents, schedules, contacts, and tips are organized and accessible at any time, even offline.

WILL I HAVE A 24/7 CONTACT WHILE I’M TRAVELING? +

Yes. For most itineraries, you’ll have 24/7 on the ground support through our trusted destination partners, ensuring immediate assistance if anything unexpected arises during your trip. For the rare cases when a local partner is not assigned, a member of the MRG TRAVELS team will always be available to assist you.

DO YOU HELP WITH TRAVEL VISAS, AND PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS? +

Yes. While we can’t complete applications for you, we’ll share the most up-to-date entry requirements for your destination so you know exactly what documents, visas, or passport validity are needed. We’ll walk you through the process so you feel fully prepared for your travels.

Yes, through our preferred partnerships, we often secure exclusive promotional rates available only when your stay is booked through a preferred agency like ours. These offers can be paired with value-added benefits, which often include:

Our value lies in elevating your stay with added perks and VIP amenities. In many cases, we’re able to layer these exclusive benefits on top of existing promotions giving you both a competitive rate and an enhanced, VIP travel experience. While upgrades and promotions vary by partner, these value-added amenities are always complimentary for our clients whenever available.

WHY SHOULD I BOOK THROUGH YOU INSTEAD OF AMEX OR ANOTHER PROGRAM? +

As a Virtuoso agency and member of the industry’s top preferred-partner programs, MRG TRAVELS offers clients the same and often better perks than AmEx. When booked through these channels, your reservation is prioritized above direct, OTA, and credit-card bookings, giving you the highest upgrade and recognition potential on property.

Most importantly, unlike a credit-card program, we have real relationships with the hotels. Because we work directly with general managers, owners, and VIP teams, you’re not just a booking number, you’re a valued guest, flagged for preferential treatment and personalized service throughout your stay.

And if anything unexpected happens, we can contact the hotel directly to resolve it, something credit-card programs simply cannot do.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REACH OUT FOR TRIP PLANNING? +

The earlier, the better. We recommend reaching out at least 6 months before your ideal travel dates. For high-demand destinations, such as Africa, Japan, or festive-season travel, it is best to begin planning 9 to 12 months in advance to secure the top hotels, guides, and experiences.

We also support clients with long-term travel planning, mapping out travel goals and future trips years in advance.

DO YOU BOOK LAST-MINUTE TRIPS? +

Yes. We are happy to assist with last-minute travel. Please note that an additional planning fee applies for trips booked within two months of travel, and within three months during the festive season (Christmas/New Year’s/Spring Break), due to increased demand and limited availability.

DO YOU PLAN TRAVEL WORLDWIDE? +

Yes. We plan travel across the globe using our firsthand knowledge and a trusted network of vetted partners to ensure every trip is thoughtfully designed. By visiting destinations and working closely with local experts, we stay current on the best accommodations, activities, and experiences across every region we plan.

DO YOU RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE? +

Yes. Travel insurance is an important part of protecting your trip investment. Unexpected situations can arise before or during travel, from last minute cancellations to medical emergencies or travel delays, and having the right coverage ensures you’re prepared for the unexpected.

We work with reputable travel insurance providers and are happy to guide you toward the best options for your itinerary so you can travel with confidence and peace of mind.
